In this course, students will learn about the history of the early Muslim khalifas, also known as the rightly guided khalifas. This course will cover the background, challenges, accomplishments of the early khalifas. Students will understand how the events in this era shaped the future of the Muslim world, and explore the lessons that can be drawn from this unique period in Islamic history.

Kareem Odeh is a student at Rutgers University studying Computer Science and Philosophy. A tutor for over 5 years, he has taught children and teens topics ranging from test prep to karate lessons. Kareem is a Safina Society student and continues his Islamic education online, studying Shafi'i fiqh and usul with Sh. Abdurragmaan Khan and others.
